In part two of our craft-along, Amanda Walker shows us how to create the next stage of this cosy pet blanket!

This week, we'll be concentrating on the surrounding fabric squares of the patchwork quilt, which is made up of eight large squares formed from nine square sets, a combination of fabric squares, plus knitted and crocheted granny squares which we showed how to make last week.

Six coordinating fabric fat quarters
Four crocheted granny squares (see part one)
